Two comfortable guest rooms share a living room, bath, and basic kitchenette in this pretty wood-frame house just half a mile from Tufts University in Medford. The rooms can be rented individually (maximum 3 guests) or to one party as a two-bedroom unit. The private guest rooms are clean and modest with basic furnishings, and slanted ceilings. One bedroom is quite large with a queen bed (2 twins on request. The other is smaller with a queen bed (or bunk beds on request), and access to an adjoining screened porch. Both rooms contain cabinet closets, chests of drawers, window air conditioners, and comfy, warm, steam heat radiators. The common living area is spacious, with a TV and kitchenette with two small refrigerators (one per room), a hot plate, a microwave, a toaster oven/grill, a crock pot, a coffee maker, and an electric tea kettle. The unit is private entry through the main hallway and up a steep set of stairs. A Laundromat is located two blocks from the house. Free parking on site, and access by bus to the Lechmere green line subway (which stops in Boston’s North End, Copley Square, Longwood Medical, BU, and BC) and the Davis Square red line subway (through Cambridge, Harvard, MIT, Massachusetts General Hospital, Beacon Hill, South Station, and the Boston Convention Center). The commuter rail into downtown Boston is just four blocks away.
