Totally updated, gleaming, and oozing charm, these accommodations offer you the sophisticated comfort of a home-away-from-home, a quiet tree-lined setting, and close proximity to Boston. Your room, with double bed and desk, is situated in the front of the house with a private, newly-remodeled bath down the hall. (A futon mattress is available in the same room for a child for an occasional visit.) You are welcome to sit in the living room and to use the kitchen to prepare light meals. The owner may not be available to greet you, yet when at home, enjoys the company of guests. It is a 10-minute walk to two subway stops and one or two stops to the Longwood Medical area, or just a 25 minute walk. The subway also takes you to Boston’s attractions. A bus along Harvard Street drives to Coolidge Corner, Commonwealth Avenue at the Green Line subway to BC and to BU, and onward to Harvard. Rate includes window ACs, cable TV and DVD player in living room, Wireless high speed Internet, Laundry in the unit, all linens and kitchen items. It is a non-smoking building. Free off-street parking.
