Reviews of The Farm Cottage (M641) Brookline, MA 02446
Read more reviews from our customers. The experience was even better than I had hoped for. The house and room were lovely, and the hostess was perfect--willing to "visit" with me without being obtrusive, and very helpful about what to see. She's a very interesting person, and I enjoyed talking with her. The breakfasts, too, were beyond expectation, with a nice variety each day. Too many B&Bs seem to be addicted to ruffles and "cute" things; this room, by contrast, was serene, spacious, and welcoming.
All-in-all, I had a great experience. - Samantha
I almost hate to tell you how good the Farm Cottage is because if people find out about it, I may never be able to get in there again. This is a special experience, comfortable and quiet but not for the luxury-loving. It's our default choice when we go to Boston. -Janice
Our host was completely delightful and absolutely to our taste -- a sophisticated, warm, musical, funny, curious and fascinating woman. We should all be so lucky to have someone like her for a friend! She went above and beyond to accomodate our crazy leaving time on Sunday and we spent several happy hours just chatting with her. The house is picturesque and in an excellent location for those wanting to use the Green Line to get around town. We loved the delicious breakfasts and both bed and bath were fine --- perfect for the price, actually. We will definitely return to the Farm House! - Betsy
